This allows eligible pet insurance claims to be submitted directly from our clinic at the time of your visit, so you only pay the remaining balance after your insured portion has been processed. This removes the need to complete paperwork or wait for reimbursement after your appointment.
When you attend Takurua Vets and your Southern Cross policy is eligible for Easy-Claim, our team submits your claim electronically while you are still in the clinic. Southern Cross assesses the claim and pays the insured portion directly to us, leaving you to pay only the outstanding amount.
This process typically occurs during your visit and significantly reduces delays.
To use Southern Cross Pet Easy-Claim, please bring:
Your Southern Cross Pet Insurance membership details
Your policy number and member name
Photo identification if requested by our reception team
Our team will confirm eligibility before submitting the claim.
Easy-Claim is subject to the terms of your individual Southern Cross policy. Coverage limits, exclusions, annual caps and excesses are determined by Southern Cross and are not set by Takurua Vets.
If your claim is declined or partially approved, you remain responsible for the outstanding balance and may still submit a traditional claim directly to Southern Cross if required.
