Takurua Vets is part of the Upper Riccarton community. Our clinic was built with the intention of contributing beyond our walls - supporting people, animals and organisations working to improve welfare across Christchurch and the wider region.

We work with a number of animal welfare organisations to provide low-cost veterinary services including desexing, microchipping and emergency care for animals in need. These partnerships help ensure that pets who might otherwise miss out on care still have access to essential treatment.

Takurua Vets supports local community projects and events that strengthen the area around our clinic. This includes initiatives such as our sponsorship of the Ilam School Jubilee, as well as other local activities that contribute to the wellbeing of families and animals in our neighbourhood.
